HAUS81 is a private music catalogue and offline audio player. This policy explains the limited information used to provide the app.
Information HAUS81 uses
- Audio files and their title, artist, duration and file information are stored on your device for offline playback.
- A randomly generated listener identifier is stored on your device so shared song likes can be counted without requiring an account.
- When the catalogue owner publishes playlists, playlist names, track order and catalogue track identifiers are sent to the HAUS81 service so listeners receive updates.
- Basic technical request information may be processed by our hosting provider to operate and secure the catalogue service.
Information HAUS81 does not collect
HAUS81 does not require your name, email address, phone number or contacts. It does not collect precise location, run advertising, use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Audio and device storage
Catalogue audio is downloaded to the app’s private storage on your iPhone for offline listening. Files you import manually remain on your device unless you separately choose to share or back them up. Removing HAUS81 from your device may remove its locally stored files.
Shared feedback
If you like or unlike a shared catalogue song, HAUS81 sends that choice together with the random listener identifier. The catalogue owner can see aggregate like counts, not your identity.
Service providers
HAUS81 uses Cloudflare to host and deliver the private catalogue and Apple to distribute the app. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Data retention and choices
Device-local information remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Shared likes and playlist data remain while the HAUS81 catalogue is operated. You may contact us to request deletion of shared service data associated with your installation.
Children
HAUS81 is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
